The word "Emo"
The word emo is overused and missed used like crazy. I mean what does it even mean? emotional ? arent we all. If you listen to alternative muisc, theres people who call you "emo" which i dont understand because they tie in listening to different music than everyone else to cutting your self?.. I listen to different music and i do NOT cut myself, or anything even close to that! its crazy, quite annoying as well! I no not everyone is as nice as some people but at least they could keep there mouth shut. I guess its just human nature to judge.

i agree... i hate people that call others EMO just cause they listen to alternative or screamo, and it down right pisses me off! i dont go around calling people that listen to country hillbillys!! but see people do judge instinctively and i do it sometimes too! but not about music! anyone can listen to a wide variety (like myself...and cal) but have a very narrow personality!
Great Blog! I agree 100%! I listen to very diverse music, and it is different every day! I go from a heavy country fan to an occasional screamo fan. I hate it when ppl automatically judge someone when they wear a certain style and say they are the certain way! It drives me insane, but anyway good topic! I wish it wasn't human nature to be that way, but it is. Whatever though I guess it builds character. (on both parts)

I strongly agree with you.
I have been told so many times that i listen to "weird" music and I hate when people judge me for it.
Especially when the person who is judging has NO clue who you are or anything about you.
steriotypical people, but what can we do about them?
nothing i suppose.
It makes me upset to see what this world has become.
