Blah

Summer is coming, there is only a couple of weeks left of school. This makes me happy, because i love summer. The warm weather is awesome just by it self and then we add on to that no school soo much time you dont even know what to do half the time. Summer means hanging with friends, just chillin, a lot of soccer, a lot of doing nothing, 4th of july parade and fireworks, the fair..and other good stuff. I just hope that the school year finishes out good for everyone, because if your slipping with your grades it wouldnt be such a nice start of a summer to be grounded. But once those 3 months are over we have to start school again, and usally those 3 months go by like 2 school weeks. But whatever if we had summer all of the time we'd all be stupid, so i guess its kind of good. Oh ya today is mothers day, so happy mothers day to all you moms!

What else do i ever blog about

Summer Soccer........We have a friendly match Monday against our rival Austin. This year we do not get to play them in the regular season because we are in different divisions. But everytime we play them it is a close game. So just because we are in a higher division doesnt mean they cant come out with a W. They will probably win there division this year, or come close because they were the third best team last year and the two top teams (Us and Rochester) moved up. Also we have trouble playing on there fields, we seem to take care of them pretty good at home but struggle there. Then next wednesday is our first real game! its home so if your not busy you should definetly drop by Memorial Park 7 pm May 6th

Prom

Prom was this past weekend. I had an absolute blast. It was soo much fun, our group had a bus to drive us around! We had 20 people in our group. My date looked stunning, and it was fun getting all cleaned up and put on a tux. The dance was a lot of fun, 4 hours though is kind of long, it coulda been a little shorter, but it was still really fun. The decorations were phenomenal, the prom committee spent a lot of time on it. I'm in 10th grade so i have two more opportunities to go in years to come. I can tell you right now if you havent already guessed i am quite excited

Easter Weekend

This weekend was Easter weekend.. It started off great with Thursday night being like a Friday because we didnt have school on Friday. Thursday night was a blast, a friend of mine had a big party celebrating his 18th birthday, which was on Friday. Both of my brothers came home this weekend which was also a lot of fun, because I dont get to see them that much. Friday was fun as well hanging with my brothers and with my friends. Saturday I didnt do much played a little soccer, i popped my 40 dollar ball, and im a little mad about that. And todays Sunday, went to church and now the family is over for Easter dinner and such.

Yet again summer soccer

Summer soccer is literally right around the corner. Practice hopefully starting Monday! But thats not for sure. Our first game is May 6th. I am pumped. I cant wait for them to get the nets up so i can practice shooting and such. Because i usually play at the back stop by brookside. But i've popped 2 balls down there. So thats not good

ppprom

Prom is getting closer and closer. Girls get so excited about it. They also get very stressed too. I have not got my tux yet, of course my date has her dress. Is prom overrated? I cant say yet cause this is my first year, but I do know it is hyped up a lot. I'm kind of looking forward to it. I am a little disappointed in myself though. The NFL draft is always the same day, so I will miss that. Also my brother is going down to Alabama to see our favorite band, and its the same weekend... so I cant go. But hopefully it will all be worth it, we will see!

Tigers Roar

Tigers Roar was this Thursday, Friday, and this Saturday. It has been a annual tradition since I can remember going to it in elementary school with my parents at the old highschool! It is a talent show of kids in our school, of course you have to try out. This year it is pretty good. The past couple of years the show choir been in it, so at least i get in for free!! I have not got to watch the full show yet, i'll probably do that tonight. but ya if you havent gone i suggest you all to go!

Offseason

Come on Vikes, make some moves. We have a couple positions that we need to address this offseason. Such as QB, WR, and a position on the o-line. We did go out and trade for Sage Rosenfels, but honestly he is worthless. He is a little over 30 and has not proven him self very well. He would be a solid back up. Not a starter in the NFL. Also we let T.J. Houshmanzada slide. And i know the market this year is not very good. It wasnt the best last year and we still made a trade for Jared Allen. Which he did tremendous on our team. There was rumors about trading for Jay Cutler. Those are gone now but i think he would fit in very nicely into a Vikings uniform. People who dont know much about football say we should draft a QB. I strongly disagree with that. Unless we draft one that can study and sit for a couple years and then come in. Because very rarely do quarterbacks come in right out of the draft and do well. Of course its happened before but i do not want to take that risk. One more thing we need get some one who can take Ryan Cooks position on the line. He's down right terrible. Never knows the snap count, if he does he usually gets called for holding. All i can say is im dissapointed so far, k bye

Yay!!....wait what?

So this weekend my parents left for chicago! woo hoo! i get the house to my self. well it couldnt have started off any worse. I had a show choir competition and we had to be at the school by 7. The bus didnt show up till around 8. People are soo smart and decided to wait outside instead of inside. And you know if you wanna good seat you need to be right with the crowd. No coat just a long sleeve shirt, i stood out side for nearly 50 minutes. We get to emmetsburg, where the competition is held. And im not feeling so well. Like really i cant even pretend smile. But i have to cause its show queer, er i mean show choir. Thank god daniels parents could take me home right after we were done performing because i would have to have stayed there till it was over, which would have sucked, because when i got home i was hanging out with my friend and she could tell something was wrong i told her i think i have a fever. We searched my house for a thermometer. Found nothing. So being the best friend she is, she went out and bought me one. We took my temperature. 101 degrees. "I knew it" i said sadly. Because my whole body was just weak as can be, and i was burning up. I was so excited to finally have the house to myself.. and then i feel like crap so i have to lay in bed all weekend :(

Show Choir/Summer Soccer

AYE WAY!!!!!!!!!! we have to meet at the school at 5:30 a.m. tomorrow morning. Am i excited?? NOT AT ALL. First off waking up at 5:00 to play soccer or watch the vikings would suck. And i love both of those things. But its fricking show choir, i have no idea why i signed up for it!! well actually thats a lie, cause i have some friends in it but whatever. I'll try and put on a better attitude but right now its not the best. The second part of my blog is directed towards summer soccer. U-16 C2 boys. Thats us. This should be an interesting year for us. We've made it to state the last 3 out of 4 years. One reason would be that we were in Classic 3, but i dont want to shoot our team down, because its not like we just walked through every game. I'm sure it doesnt have the intensity of a Varsity game, but its a lot of fun and competative. This year however we will be stepping it up a notch and enter Classic 2 a little tougher division. I think if we have a consistent showing of everyone on the team at both practices and every game we will at least be close. Also we have to want it. If we go into every game telling our selfs we are going to lose, well then we will. Im really excited for the upcoming year and we'll see how it all goes!

Early Out!

Right when it was looking like spring was just around the corner, we were hit with an ice/sleet storm yesterday. We were in 3rd hour when we got the announcement that we were getting out early! Everyone was ecstatic. They are always really fun. I didn't do much though, we out to eat with a friend, then we went to our friends house and watched some movies. I'll tell ya, it does beat sittin in school. I'm not thinking we are going to get anymore cancellations of school this year due to weather, because spring is getting closer and closer. I couldnt be more excited because once spring comes summer soccer starts and once summer soccer starts well then the rest of the school year goes by in a wink and its already summer!! woooooooo which i am deeply in love with. k bye

Valentines Day

Valentines Day is today. I'm not the biggest fan of it. It really isn't that cool, kinda pointless actually. It's a waste of money. Also if you did something like you would do on Valentines Day on a regular day, your lover would probably appreciate it way more, because its random and they are not expecting it! Thinking about Valentines day makes my teeth hurt. From all the childhood memories of eating tons and tons of candy. There is always that stressful feeling in your mind whether they will like what you got them or not. If you spend a lot of money and they end up not liking it, its gets you down and puts a hole in your wallet. I dont know im done ranting

Headed to La Crosse, again

As you may know in my past blogs one of my older brothers, Ross attends Viterbo University in La Crosse. My family and I are going to stay in a hotel again there. It'll be nice seeing my brothers again. And i love staying in hotels! its really fun. One downside of it is that I have to miss my soccer game. This week we actually have a chance too. Because we play people in our grade. Not 24 year old mexicans. But whatever they can win without me. Also this past week was pretty nice, it had some ups and downs but it was decent.

Saturday fun

Yesterday was indeed saturday and it was really fun. Friday night i stayed at my friend silas' house because show choir had to perform for solo ensemble at lakeville south. So we left early saturday morning (silas his mom sister and me) and our performance was at 9:30 once we got done his sister wanted to look for a dress so we went to the burnsville mall. Me and silas ditched them because we arent the dress type. We walked around a little i got some stuff and we got outta there. then we got to go to olive garden! it was really good. After sleeping the whole way back we arrived back to silas' house. We played the wii for a couple hours and after that my dad picked me up. At around 7:30, silas david and peter came over and we played some more wii! 9 o'clock we went to the winterfest dance! it was okay then around 10:30 sam morgan and i left and chilled at my house! it was fun thats all..k bye

super bowl sunday

its super bowl sunday and people are freakin out!..i'm going for the cardinals but we'll see. Its an unoffical holiday. Some people just watch the big game for the comercials. I'm a huge vikings fan and i used to be a huge NFL fan in general, but to be honest with you im not that excited for this game. Actually i am leaving at 7:15 because i have a indoor soccer game, so i wont even see the whole thing. If you were to ask me in 7th grade if i would miss any part of the super bowl i would have slapped you in the face. I guess i just lost some interest in it, but hey not the vikings if they were in it i wouldnt miss it for the world!

La Crosse

My brother Ross currently is attending Viterbo University in La Crosse. He is thinking about transferring though. Anyways he had to go back this weekend. He had been home for around a month for Christmas break, and my other brother left for Italy about a week ago. So this weekend was just my dad mom ross and I. We went to La Crosse on saturday and stayed in a hotel up there. It was a lot of fun. We had to drop him off today and now i'm back home an only child again. I kinda like having two brothers. Its boring and lonely here with just me and my parents. Theres nothing i can do about it though ! so whatever k bye

Fifa 09 tourny

This friday a bunch of people went over to Luke Thompsons house for a big fifa tournament. There was 12 people and it was double elimination. Everybody put in 5 bucks. The 1st place winner got 75 percent of the cash, second place got 25 percent and 3rd got their 5 bucks back. To pick teams we drew out of a hate. The first pick would obviously get the first stab at their favorite team. Once we started I had Manchester UTD and I played Luke the first round. He was Barcelona, one of the best teams. He beat me, but I wasnt out because it was double elimination! I played Lars next and we went into a shoot-out and he beat me. That was a very close game we both had scoring oppurtunitys late in the game. I hit the cross bar on one. And he had a break away but couldnt capatilize. All around it was a very fun night, I wish I wouldnt have walked away empty handed though.

Break

Break is coming to an end :( it was a nice one though. We have today and Saturday and Sunday left. 17 days for christmas break, ill take it. Its always hard getting back in the groove though. The first couple of days of break i had to work, which is fine because i get paid for working ha then christmas of course it was good like always. New Years Eve is probably my favorite though because my family has a tradtion where we start playing board games at around 7 or 8 at night and then end at about 4 or 5 in the morning! and my dad has a whole point system down. This years first prize winner got 80 bucks!! it was my brother caseys friend, jill. So the money wasnt even kept in the family! I have two brothers and we each get to invite a friend. It doesnt sound like much but its really fun. Oh ya and Twilight Zone marathon!!!

Vikings

The vikes made the playoffs!! finally! its been i dont know how many years but too long! now we are in it though! we play the Eagles on Sunday, the Eagles have been on a big roll lately though. They are even projected to win by 3! lets hope thats not the case, if the Vikes play their cards right they should be able to squeeze by a win. Adrian needs to hold on to the ball, Jackson needs to make good reads and decisions! The defense has to just keep playing like they have been all year. If all this happens we will be fine, The game might be blacked out on TV though because of ticket sale. If that happens i will be furious! k bye
